The Quotations Screen

Procedure

When in Quotation mode the screen will appear differently in SiPOS to alert the user that this mode is enabled.

The quotation screen icons are as follows:

	Start a new quote
	Save the quote
	Return to the quotations list window
	Print the current quotation
	Receive a deposit for the current quotation
	Convert the current quote to invoice
	Accept the quote and enter the name of the person accepting the quote
	Reject the quote
	Exit quotation window and return to normal SiPOS sales mode

The bottom of the quotation screen shows the following information:

Name of the current user
Member (if one is allocated to the quote)
Debtor (if one is allocated to the quote)
Current Date and Time
Quotation number and Revision Number
Current status of the quote

The user can edit details of the quote as follows:

Name of the SALES PERSON
CONTACT name and address details
PO # - Enter Purchase Order Number
Date the quote is VALID FOR
Date the quote is REQUIRED FOR
The current TYPE (status) of the quote
The Quotation Number and Revision Number will appear in the status bar

The quotation dropdown menu has the following options:

Create a NEW quotation
SAVE the current quotation
Return the QUOTATIONS LIST
PRINT the current quotation
PRINT a picking slip for the current quotation
ACCEPT the quotation
REJECT the quotation
Update the current quotation to the Quote Type of PRE-INVOICE
Update the current quotation to the Quote Type of CONSIGNMENT
