Procedure

  1. From the Sysnet Toolbar click on the Utilities icon
  2. Click on the <PRINTERS> tab followed by the <PRINTERS> sub tab
  3. Click <ADD> to add a new printer
  4. Select the PRINTER from the dropdown list
  5. Select a BACKUP printer from the dropdown list
  6. Select the printer TYPE i.e. physical printer, kitchen monitor (bump screen) or both
  7. Select the PROTOCOL from the dropdown list
  8. Select the CONFIG profile for this printer
  9. Optional - select the table number range for this printer
  10. Set the maximum characters per line (default 40 for most standard order printers)
  11. Enable the "Available for Reprint Receipts" checkbox as required
  12. Enable the "Invert Printing" checkbox if this printer is to be wall mounted to ensure the paper feeds and prints accordingly
  13. Press <OK> to complete the printer configuration
  14. The printer is added to the list and can be edited any time by selecting the printer and pressing <EDIT>
