Procedure

  1. From the Sysnet Toolbar click on the Stock icon
  2. Click (+) to create a new inventory item or clone a similar item
  3. Follow the wizard prompts to select the stock group and number of items to create
  4. Click <OK> to continue and accept the recommended numbers
  5. Begin entering details into the inventory DETAIL screen

Hint!  Raw ingredients are often purchased in a variety of different pack sizes and weights according to availability and season.  For this reason it is recommended to keep the setup of these products as standard as possible

 

Outer = Kilogram

Inner = Kilogram or Gram (think about how you might stocktake this item - counting by Kilogram may well be easier than gram)

Outer = Litre

Inner = Litre or Millilitre (think about how you might stocktake this item - counting by Litre may well be easier than millilitre)

 

  1. Create the FACTORS and DIVIDERS for the recipe portions AND for the ways you can order e.g. Kilo, Gram, A10 Tin, 5 Kilo Bag etc
  2. Tick to save
  3. Return to the Inventory LIST view and right click on the newly created item  
  4. Select RANGE TO LOCATIONS  
  5. Highlight the locations which relate to this product e.g. Kitchen and press <SELECTED>
  6. Repeat this process to all remaining ingredients
