About

This menu is used to configure the various tax rates required for the database.  Tax rates are linked to stock groups for the tax the venue pays when purchasing products, and linked to PLU Groups for the sales tax rates.  The Tax Rates menu has two configuration sections - Tax Names and Tax Rates.  A Tax Name is a set of taxes based on a region such as a state or country.  A Tax Name can have multiple Tax Rates which are the actual percentage values required to calculate the tax on products.
