About
The Stock Master Update is a bulk update feature for products. It
can be used to set a master product and update a range of products based
on the changes required. Changes can be made to Sales Stock or Stock
in Location records from one location to single or multiple locations
in the database.
Examples of where this can be used:
- Bulk update Stock Status changes to multiple Stock
in Location records
- Bulk update sales stock changes such as descriptions,
modifiers, revenue groups etc. across a range of PLU's in multiple
locations.
Procedure
- From the Sysnet
Toolbar click on the Stock
icon
- Click on the MAINTENANCE
dropdown menu followed by MASTER
UPDATE
- Select the record type to be updated
- PLU's or Stock in Location
- Select the LOCATION
to make the changes FROM
- Click <SELECT
LOCATIONS> to choose the locations to be updated by the
changes
- Select the details to be updated
- Make the changes to records as required
- Press the <UPDATE>
button
- A confirmation window will appear
- Press <OK>
to close
