Procedure
Any data filtered on screen can be generated as a report. This
means that Sysnet reporting can be completely customisable, with this
feature available over and above the existing Sysnet Reports.
Printing from the SMART Grid
- Set the required column order for the report
including adding and/or removing columns as needed
- Sort, filter and group the data as required
- Select Best
Fit (All) from the SMART menu to ensure all columns are the
correct width
- Right click anywhere in the SSG and select PRINT GRID
- A preview screen is displayed and toolbar
options allow the user to print or export the report as needed
Exporting Data from the SMART Grid
- Set the required column order for your report
including adding and/or removing columns as needed
- Sort, filter and group the data as required
- Select Best
Fit (All) from the SMART menu to ensure all columns are the
correct width
- Right click anywhere in the SSG and select EXPORT GRID
- Select the type of export from the following
options
- Excel (XLS)
- Plain Text File (TXT)
- Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
- XML
- HTML web page
- Enter or browse for a FILENAME
- If the grid has expand (+) buttons the user
can opt to EXPAND ALL DATA BEFORE
EXPORTING to export the sub grids in the report
- Tick the
SAVE ALL option
to save the report in it's entirety
- Press <OK> to export the data
in the grid to the specified filename in the required format
