About
The Stock Usage report lists all stock that has been effectively "used"
during the period under review. It details opening quantities along
with the transfer, purchase, sold and wastage amounts and is similar in
calculation to that of the , however
quantities are displayed rather than dollar values. The report uses
the Inventory Code for tracking on this report and is grouped by Stock
Group.
Getting the Report
The Stock Usage report can be found in two ways:
- Sysnet Toolbar
> Reports menu > Stock > Stock Usage
- Sysnet Toolbar
> Stock menu > Reports > Stock > Stock Usage
Hints on Reading the Report
- OPENING QUANTITY
= the total quantity (based on inners) of stock on hand at the beginning
of the period under review
- QUANTITY TRANSFERRED
IN/OUT = the total quantity (based on inners) of items transferred
in and out of the location for the period under review
- QUANTITY PURCHASED
= the total quantity (based on inners) of items purchased into the
location for the period under review
- ACTUAL QUANTITY
= the total closing quantity (based on inners) in the location for
the period under review
- ACTUAL USAGE
= Opening quantity +/- Transfers + Purchases - Current Quantity in
Stock for the location and period under review
- QUANTITY SOLD
= the total quantity (based on inners) sold from the location for
the period under review
- QUANTITY WASTED
= the total quantity (based on inners) recorded to wastage in
the location for the period under review
- EXPECTED USAGE
= Quantity Sold + Quantity Wasted
- USAGE VARIANCE
= Actual Usage - Expected Usage
- LOST QUANTITY
= Actual Usage - Expected Usage
