About
The Stock Movement report lists all stock movement figures including
transfers, purchases, sales, discrepancies and wastage. It mirrors
the but reflects the quantities rather than the values.
Getting the Report
The Stock Movement report can be found in two ways:
- Sysnet Toolbar
> Reports menu > Stock > Stock > Stock Movement Report
- Sysnet Toolbar
> Stock Menu > Reports > Stock > Stock Movement Report
Filtering the Report
This report has similar filtering to the Cost of Goods including Location,
Stock Group, Supplier and Supplier Type. Sorting and viewing options
include by individual stock lines or totals, additional grouping options
and categories, suppress zero records and showing group totals.
Hints on Reading the Report
- INV CODE
= the inventory code for the stock item
- DESCRIPTION
= the name for the inventory item
- OPENING QUANTITY
= the total quantity (based on inners) of stock on hand at the beginning
of the period under review
- TRANSFERRED IN/OUT
= the total quantity (based on inners) of items transferred in and
out of the location for the period under review
- PURCHASED QUANTITY
= the total quantity (based on inners ) of items purchased into the
location for the period under review
- QUANTITY SOLD
= the total quantity (based on inners) sold in the location for the
period under review
- QUANTITY DISCREPANCY
= the total quantity (based on inners) adjusted as a result of stocktake
and manually through either the Stock Discrepancy or Stock Transfer
menu for the period under review
- QUANTITY LOST/WASTED
= the total quantity (based on inners) recorded to wastage during
the period under review
- USAGE
= Qty Transferred Out + Qty Sold - Qty Adjusted + Qty Wastage
- LITRE
= Usage * Stock.mls / Inners per Outer /1000
- CURRENT STOCK
ON ORDER = outstanding purchase orders which haven't been received
- CURRENT STOCK
ON HAND = the current
stock on hand figure at the present time when the report is created.
This will remain at the current figure regardless of the period
selected for the report
