About

A ‘Default Template’ can be created for reports if required and is particularly handy for those reports used regularly e.g. Cost of Goods Reports and Profit Reports.  This means that whenever the report filtering window is opened, the ‘Default Template’ will load automatically.

This is a handy tool to save time and means the user does not have to select the template each time the report is generated.  Setting a Default Template is done in two stages:

Step 1 - Create the Template

  1. From the Sysnet Toolbar click on the Reports icon

  2. Click on the required Sysnet menu icon at the top to list the available reports

  3. Locate the desired report from the list and double click on the report name to open it

  4. Use the filter options to select the desired report filtering

  5. Click on the Templates icon and select "Save Filters As"

  6. Enter a NAME for the template and click YES to confirm the save

Step 2 - Set the Report Template as the Default

  1. From the report filtering window click on the Template icon again
  2. Click on "Configure Saved Templates"
  3. Highlight the desired template from the list and press <EDIT>
  4. Enable the "Is Default" checkbox and press <OK> to accept the changes
  5. The template is now set as the default
